Paul,
l'm back home from the SCCA RallyCross National
Championship with a trophy in hand! Racing was intense
from the start! Racing my 2002 Subaru Wrx in the
Prepared All class from the start of compition I was
swapping first and second place with another Suby all
day long. We had a total of 7 runs on Saturday. Going
into Sunday with a lead of just half a second I knew I
had to be on top of my game with only having 2 runs left
Sunday morning for the championship title. My first run
the second place car ran almost half a second faster, so
down to the last run I had to give it my all and really
push. My last run I pulled it off by about a second from
the second place car taking home the title by only .3
sec. I knew tire/wheel combos had to be the best the
whole weekend, I can't say enough about Braid
Competition wheels and BFG G-Force rally tires! Braid
wheels are strong, light, and of course visually
appealing, I knew I wouldn't have any problems in the
wheel dept. Thank you Paul/ Team Illuminata for the
support! You can count on another Purchase of a spare
set of Braid Competition wheels when the time comes!

Paul,
How’s it going? I just wanted to let you know that I am
totally impressed at the strength of the Braid wheels. I
unfortunately found this out the hard way during STPR
rally. We went wide in a corner striking a dirt
embankment which sent us into a spin. It was during the
spin that we then struck a tree stump resulting in a
rollover. This completely destroyed the control arm,
broke the sway bar, snapped the tie rod in half and left
half the tree stuck in the rim. The best part of this is
the tire never went flat and the rim didn’t even crack.
Cline Rally Sport will be buying nothing but Braid
wheels from now on.
